A Song from the Beginning

Tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow,
My beloved, have no sorrow;
There is time for us to borrow—
Borrow world enough and time.
Time for musings and confusings,
Silly mysteries and loose strings;
Time for sooner soons and choosings,
Time for drinks, and stay-awhiles.
Time for Do I dares,
And double-dogs in theatre chairs;
Time for fires and unkempt hairs,
(And I will dare to eat your peach).
Time to take a long walk—
Hide the keys beneath the peace rock;
Time for half-unconscious nonsense talk,
And soft touches beneath the sheets.
