Solar Beauty

I mentioned back in June that I'd started to read Ian McEwan's latest--although not exactly new--novel, Solar. My love for McEwan's writing is well known, particularly those contemporarily set. (I've often referred to Saturday as one of my favorite novels of all time. 

Solar did not disappoint. McEwan's ability to mix beauty with suspense and intrigue is unparalleled, and he manages to make even the most rascally protagonists utterly human and sympathetic. I'd say you should read it, but, really, you should read McEwan's whole ouvre
